Food Program

     Our feeding program currently feeds almost 200 students and 35 teachers and staff every school day! Two days each week, even during the summer months, students and teachers eat a hot meal of rice and beans. The other three days a week, during school months, a local bread maker comes to supply the bread for peanut butter sandwiches so that everyone has food in their stomachs. These simple meals are often the only meal of the day for our students and staff. As times are tough and food prices rise, we do our best to continue to feed them daily.   

The feeding program is a major piece of what donated money goes towards. The monthly budget for food has recently increased from $800 to $1125 monthly to keep up with rising costs.  Partner with us by donating to the feeding program each month!
